Methamphetamine’s are one of the strongest drugs on the streets. Its a stimulant drug which speeds up your bodily functions, enhancing body movements and mood. Meth will be pleasurable for the user to begin with because the brain will release a flood of dopamine through your body.

When a user becomes addicted and has been using for as little as a few weeks, paranoia will begin to set in. Hallucinations become frequent and the user becomes confused about what reality is.

Meth is made using a lot of harmful chemicals, such as cleaning products and hydrochloric acid. Its also manufactured in very unsanitary conditions. So imagine going to you cupboard under your sink and taking a swig of the cleaning products there, or injecting it into your veins.

Mental health issues are a common side effect seen in meth users. Prolonged use of the drug often leads to paranoia and schizophrenia.

Hepatitis and Aids are diseases that meth users face the risk of contracting everyday. Most of us are familiar with the effects of Hepatitis and Aids, coupled with the effects of meth would mean a serious health risk for addicts.

Meth has an adverse effect on the libido, while using the addict will find that they will have a heightened sex drive. After a while they wont be able to have sex without meth, creating the illusion that they need it to function normally. The sperm count and morphology could also be reduced, although this theory hasn’t been entirely proven.

While under the influence of meth, users often feel as if they have insects crawling under their skin. The pick at their bodies and faces, leaving unsightly sores that could get infected. Users also have the habit to grind their teeth, which are weakened by methamphetamine’s. Users often end up losing all their teeth, and even their hair.

Meth use will often result in heart problems, which could lead to death.
