| Every employee that we refer has received rehabilitation
services which may include: career counseling, education and general job training to ensure
job readiness.
In addition, VocRehab Vermont and VABIR (Vermont
Association of Business, Industry and Rehabilitation)
staff will assist you and your new employee with
on-the-job
support to make sure that the transition is a smooth
one. In particular, we can help with technical assistance
relating to reasonable accommodations and accessibility
for the employee.
VocRehab Vermont also runs several short-term job
training programs in coordination with businesses,
the Department of Employment & Training, and
other organizations to train staff in preparatory
job skills.
